Hawaii was incredible! We had some time to totally relax, go for long walks at dusk, eat A LOT of snow cones, sleep and go to bed at whatever time we decided, swim, dry off and swim again :)
1960's Travelall Transformation
Taking the Travelall out for the first time! Christian found it with Bend based 'Binder Boneyard', who transformed it from an unusable rusted garden shelter to one of the most beautiful things on wheels! We made a film in the process of styling some of the 1924 goods for the store! Couldn't be more happy with the result :) (check here for before and after process pictures!)
Home Apothecary
Over the past weekend we have been moving home! In amongst the culling and heavy lifting we've had to start re-decorating and finding pieces that resonate with what we are truly passionate about and love! So it got me excited to make a blog post on some recent collaborations with newer and older labels that create beautiful apothecary for the home, bottles that are beautifully branded and that are of course, extremely practical to have on your bathroom counter top - win win. So below we have Little Barn Apothecary (they are based out of Atlanta and have an INCREDIBLE body oil and cleanser which I use on almost every morning and evening). Secondly Commodity - Which are a group of perfume makers based around the world and create addictive scents! We also use the block of soap which scents your entire bathroom. And finally, of course, Le Labo, who never fail to overwhelm your senses in the best way. The labels are classic and look beautiful in the home :) These are just a simple few, there are a couple more which I'd love to photograph, so soon! I'll also so a house tour once it is complete! EXCITED, for now back to setting the antique room up! Blessings xx
Clay styling pieces - new to the antique store
Some new pottery pieces for our antique store! The above ones Christian & I sourced in New Zealand on the way traveling down to Dunedin! They are almost up on the store. I just got excited to share a blog post first :) I also included some other finds from Oregon we fell in love with! Pottery is such a beautiful way to style simple nooks. I also have some exciting news, that is we are moving at the end of the week. So we have been packing and refining all the antiques. I can't tell you how excited we are to switch up locations (the one we are currently in is leaking water), although to be honest, the excitement is more along the lines we get to style a house from scratch YYAYAYAY!!! All items from the 1924 antique store :)
Contessa Volpi Swim
Contessa Volpi are a swimwear label I have worked alongside a few years now. Enrica is a talented Italian designer, now based in Sydney and creating these pieces each by hand in Australia! Some of the most flattering, timeless designs I have found through their label. The fabric is quality with the needed thought that holds your body into a beautiful, flattering firm shape. I have grown up mostly by the ocean so swimming for me is almost like a ritual, in any kind of weather! I am also very picky with the designs however when seeing her's, you cant help to fall in love. (Also because it fits so well with my biggest ocean / holiday inspiration. I have added some images below for you to see!). So here we go, a recent image series we did together, with that early 1900s feel in mind, featuring the Adina one piece in Aubergine & the Elle Swimsuit in white!

Stevie May x Elle-May
A small look book we created for Stevie May with some favorite 2018 pieces! They are based here in Australia & we had a lot of fun using the Australian landscapes / heritage buildings and pubs! The designs all have these beautiful wraps and drapes signature to their style. It has also been an incredible month and a half back home. Christian and I returned to the Sunshine Coast yesterday from an amazing trip down south with friends discovering Melbourne, Thredbo and some more of the southern coastline (the twelve apostles). Now our time is almost up here for the start of the year, we will return to Portland by the end of the week (It has been some crazy traveling). I am motivated to set up the next snippet of a chapter, we have found some of our favorite antiques on this trip and are both over the moon to get them up on the store once we are back in Oregon! Happy new year for now you guys, I will see you sooooon <3

Kidphilosophy Winter to Summer
This is a short mood piece featuring an outfit Christian & I created while on our stay in Akaroa, New Zealand. The soundtrack is a combination of a rough melody I made up on the piano and the fire place back in Oregon

OKEEFFE SHOES - A F/W LOOKBOOK
O'Keeffe are a beautifully crafted Italian, leather shoe label based in London! Christian & I have been living in their shoes for the past year so it has been such an honor working together to create this first F/W lookbook!
You can check their range out here - We hope you enjoy this preview of the lookbook!
A weekend in Forks, Washington
Eli & Lukas are friends from Prague who we happened to see TWICE this year. haha it fell by chance. This is a set of images we took a few weeks ago on our little weekend getaway to Washington :) (with stops in Forks, Ruby Beach & La Push). I had never seen any of these places before so it was beautiful to see the landscapes, forest and beach covered in a thick fog / ocean mist.
You can see some of the images they were taking for a Portland based clothing store - Bridge & Burn, cuties!! Christian & I had also planned to set some more lifestyle shots up for the antique store on the beach!

Soft oversize Linen
For the last few months, I’ve been living / traveling mainly in linen pieces, because they are just so comfortable! There are a few labels that specialize in one size fits all pieces and I really love these ones :) Sea side tones are a label who focus on the classic simplicity with a slight modern twist. They give off a beach / luxury feel with pre-softened linens, which feel amazing! Here is a little set of images we took in New Zealand amongst the beautiful mountains cape of Milford sound!
